The Northern Alberta Business Incubator (NABI), based in St. Albert, Alberta, is a business incubator providing space and services to planning-stage, newly started, and home-based businesses. Originally opened May 16, 1989 as the St. Albert Business Development Centre, NABI has since nurtured more than one hundred new businesses in the region.Eligibility Criteria
NABI provides quality business planning programs, one-on-one business coaching and mentoring to meet specific goals. Entrepreneurs operating a new business or an existing home business, looking to move into commercial space.
The NABI provides a protected environment for your business during the critical first years. We offer low-cost office space ranging from 100 to 1,000 square feet (includes phone & business line, high speed Internet, answering service, business seminars, business forum, counselling and assistance, access to office equipment and secretarial services). The NABI features the added flexibility of allowing you to expand your office space as your business grows.
The NABI provides your business with a productive and professional office setting in which to meet clients and do work. This environment also means there are other small business owners just down the hallway with whom you can network and share your successes. Business counselling is available to NABI clients at no charge and usually without an advance appointment.
A wide range of services, office equipment, information resources, and facilities are made available to NABI clients at either no charge or on a per-usage basis.
Non-Tenant Clients
You don't have to be a tenant in our office building to be a client of the NABI. We offer a Corporate Identity Package for your small business. It gives you a business mailing address and a professional image when you are not able to answer your phone, and the use of meeting rooms. It also provides you with access to many of the same amenities afforded to our clients who have offices at the Northern Alberta Business Incubator.
