Edmonton Chamber of Commerce

World Trade Centre Edmonton (WTCE) is the international division of the Edmonton Chamber. It is the only World Trade Centre facility in the prairie provinces. WTC Edmonton is a member of the World Trade Centers Association, a global network of over 300 trade centers in major cities around the world. WTC Edmonton is your business "home away from home," a comfortable, one-stop service centre connecting you with global opportunities in trade, travel and investment.

Eligibility Criteria

Edmonton Chamber members, who are now automatically members of the World Trade Centre Edmonton, are able to take advantage of a variety of new and innovative services and benefits provided by the internationally respected World Trade Center Association (WTCA).

Summary

In July of 2004 the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce relocated to its new premises on the seventh floor of the new World Trade Centre Edmonton, 9990 Jasper Avenue.

The WTCE sixth floor is a one-stop service centre for business visitors from the North and around the world. Northern chamber members automatically become members of the new World Trade Centre Edmonton. Each northern member receives a personal membership card and access to WTCE services located in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Services include:

  • Private day offices, conference facilities
  • Digital projection and audio-visual systems
  • Hi-speed Internet computer workstations
  • Document processing, printing and copying

World Trade Centers Association (WTCA)

The WTCA was established in 1970 to promote the flow of international trade and commerce. Each member center offers trade and business related information and services to both local and visiting business representatives. All services are reciprocal, permitting members of each WTC to use the facilities and services of all others. Services available via the World Trade Center Association and its related web portals include:

  • Certificates of Origin and Notarization
  • Information on incoming and outgoing trade missions.
  • Information on trade opportunities around the world
  • “Virtual Trade Fair” is a multimedia catalogue for displaying your products globally.
  • Online directories listing of over 140 thousand importers & exporters
