Eligibility Criteria
TEC Centre Tenant Membership can be physical or virtual based on the following requirements:
- Business concept involving technology based products or services
- Potential synergism with University of Alberta community
- Demonstrated financial resources to sustain the business during the startup phase
- Capable and motivated entrepreneur or entrepreneurial team oriented towards growth
- TEC Centre Advisory Committee review and acceptance
Exit Criteria
The TEC Centre environment is designed to help launch new ventures, which will typically “graduate” in two to three years. However, companies may stay longer or shorter periods, depending on the extent to which they continue to meet the entrance criteria, to demonstrate growth and to interact with the university community.
